Most People Don’t Know These 20 Super Tiny Towns In South Carolina Exist

South Carolina has some amazing towns, but did you know that we also have some super tiny towns? These towns have less than 500 people in them! I actually grew up in a super tiny town in South Carolina known as Olar. It's a strange feeling knowing that you grew up in a place that many people don't even know exists. Well, here are 20 super tiny towns in South Carolina that you may not have even heard of.

1. Central Pacolet

This is a small town in Spartanburg County that at last count had 219 people in residence!

2. Gifford

This Hampton County town at last count had a population of 276 people.

3. Shiloh

You'll find Shiloh in Sumter County. It's population sits at around 214.

4. Olar

Olar is a little town inside of Bamberg County. I always say that this place has 300 people on a good day if everyone is home, but the population of Olar is actually closer to 253!

5. Modoc

Excluding all the fish in Lake Strom Thurmond, Modoc has a population of 218.

6. Donalds

There is a population of 345 in this tiny town. making it way bigger than Olar!

7. McConnells

McConnells has many beautiful views, but only a population of 266 people.

8. Stuckey

Residing inside Williamsburg Co, and smaller than Hemingway, the population here hovers around 234.

9. Little Mountain

Little Mountain is such a beautiful place and quiet since last count there were only 291 people here.

10. Eutawville

This is a "BIG" super tiny town at 312 residents.

11. Mount Caramel

Don't you love tiny towns? Mount Caramel only has 216 people as of last check.

12. Ware Place

Some people would probably ask, "Where" is this place? Ware Place is in Greenville County and has a population of 228 people.

13. Furman

No, not the university! Furman is a small town with 234 people.

14. Lane

Almost missed the super tiny town title, but squeaked in at 494!

15. Bethune

Sheltered in Kershaw County, Bethune is a super tiny town with 337 people.

16. Reevesville

Home of 201 residents! That may be the tiniest town we have in South Carolina.

17. Scotia

As we can see, Scotia may be small, but they have some of the best farmland! However, there are only 212 people here.

18. Sellers

It may be small at 216 residents, but as you can see it doesn't stop their fun!

19. West Union

West Union is in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains and oh so beautiful, but only has 292 full-time residents.

20. Cokesbury

Even from the sky, it's tiny! Cokesbury has only 215 people here. Wow!
