Rhode Island is full of quaint, historic downtowns that really get decked out for the holidays. Some towns outdo themselves when it comes to their Christmas light displays. While white lights are generally the rule, some rebel towns go crazy with colored lights. Here are some towns you'll want to drive through before it's all over until next year.

1. Bristol's Hope Street is lovely at Christmas, lit up with thousands of white lights along with a hanging LED snowflake.

2. The Christmas lights in downtown Providence are even better when you can catch Waterfire as well!
