Wind down after a hectic week by arriving in Clearfield, PA, on Friday evening. That’s just in time to catch a concert during the Corner Concert Series, which runs from early June through early September. Concerts are held at Lower Witmer Park and start at 7 p.m. Performers range from blues and rock to singer-songwriter, and everything in between. If you’re a fan of old-fashioned festivals, time your visit for the Clearfield County Fair, celebrating its 165th season July 15-25, 2026. The annual 100-mile yard sale will also run through Clearfield County, July 17-18, 2026. This epic event winds through Elk, Cameron, and Clearfield Counties, perfect for treasure hunters and bargain seekers alike. Clearfield is just 20 minutes from Parker Dam State Park in nearby Penfield. Here, you'll find a cozy sandy beach open from late May through mid-September. The water in the lake's swimming area maxes out at five feet, so it's perfect if you're bringing younger kids. A snack bar is also open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
