Wind down after a hectic week by arriving in Clearfield, PA, on Friday evening. That’s just in time to catch a concert during the Corner Concert Series, which runs from early June through early September. If you’re a fan of old-fashioned festivals, time your visit for the Clearfield County Fair, celebrating its 165th season July 15-25, 2026. The annual 100-mile yard sale will also run through Clearfield County, July 17-18, 2026. Clearfield is just 20 minutes from Parker Dam State Park in nearby Penfield. Here, you'll find a cozy sandy beach open from late May through mid-September. The water in the lake's swimming area maxes out at five feet, so it's perfect if you're bringing younger kids. A snack bar is also open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
