Here are the best scenic railroads in the state of Pennsylvania, many of which have been operational for more than 100 years.
1. Kiski Junction Railroad, Wellsboro
Located near Pittsburgh, Kiski Junction Railroad has been operational for over 150 years, but has only been offering customers rides for fun since 1996.
2. Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, Jim Thorpe
Some of these train coaches were built as early as 1917!
3. Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad, Titusville

6. Middletown & Hummselstown Railroad, Middletown
With the slogan "We engineer great memories," Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad is the perfect way to admire Pennsylvania.
7. Tioga Central Railroad, Wellsboro
The Tioga Railroad was opened in 1840 to connect Blossburg with the Chemung Canal at Corning. Today, it is still operational as one of the best scenic railroads in the country.
8. New Hope & Ivy Railroad, New Hope
The New Hope & Ivy Railroad encourages its passengers to sit back, relax, and enjoy what riding trains was like for their "parents, grand parents, and great grandparents."
