The Most Oregon Town Ever And Why You Need To Visit

The Beaver State is truly the best in the country, in our humble opinion. We have stunning mountains, excellent craft beer and coffee, beautiful waterfalls, and the best people you'll ever find. Sure, other states might have a few of these features, but what makes Oregon so special is that we have a unique mix of ALL these and more. Here's an Oregon town that has pretty much every wonderful thing about our state - all in one little package!

The town of Sisters is home to around 2,500 people, and it has just about everything you could ever want or need.

Sisters was named after the distinctive Three Sisters peaks, but it's surrounded by several other mountains, including Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Washington, Three-Fingered Jack, and more. Quite the landscape, right?

Waking up in Sisters is a special treat. Head to Sisters Coffee Co., where they roast their own specialty beans.

Oregonians have high standards when it comes to their morning brew, and this place exceeds all of them.

You'll find Sisters Coffee Company at 273 W. Hood Ave.

Hop in the car and explore the countryside around town. You'll find some beautiful, rural farms and ranches out here.

Grab some fresh produce from Richard's Farmstand. It's located at 411 W. Cascade Ave.

The quaint little downtown area has several historic buildings and businesses, including Sisters Saloon, which was established in 1912...

...and Sisters Market, which opened all the way back in 1898.

Hop in the Spa might just be the most Oregon spa ever - you'll soak away your cares in a microbrew bath here!

Stop by 371 W. Cascade Ave. to try a surprisingly serene beer bath.

If you'd rather drink your microbrews, your next stop should be Three Creeks Brewery.

This brewery uses only the best Oregon hops to create its beer. You'll find four flagship brews, along with more than a dozen other varieties that rotate throughout the year.

Sisters has plenty of artistic flair, too. You'll find beautiful outdoor art throughout town, and several art galleries, including Gary Cooley Studios, Canyon Creek Pottery & Gallery, Ken Scott's Imagination Gallery, Hood Avenue Art, and more.

For being such a small town, Sisters hosts some incredible events, including the famous Sisters Rodeo, Sisters Folk Festival, and Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.

The natural beauty surrounding Sisters showcases Central Oregon's jaw-dropping vistas, nearby forests, streams, and rivers.

Just a short drive from downtown, you'll find hiking trails that will lead you to Proxy Falls (pictured below), Koosah Falls, and Sahalie Falls.

When you've finished your hike, head to the iconic Sno Cap Drive-In at 380 W. Cascade Ave.

There's nothing like a cold, creamy ice cream cone on a warm summer day, and Sno Cap has the best ice cream and friendliest service. The burgers are tasty, too!

A day trip isn't nearly long enough to enjoy this pretty little town. Stay overnight at Five Pine Lodge & Spa, where you'll enjoy a quiet, relaxing evening surrounded by fragrant pines.
