Oregon’s Pumpkin Patch Train Ride Is A Great Way To Spend A Fall Day

Fall is right around the corner, which means it's the perfect time to set out on an autumn adventure. Fortunately, the Beaver State is filled with fun fall activities, and there's even a train ride that just may be the best pumpkin patch train ride in Oregon. If you're looking for something the whole family will enjoy, you'll want to put a trip to the Flower Farmer in Canby, Oregon on your calendar, starting at the end of September. Take a look:

The whole family will enjoy a fall day trip to the Flower Farmer in Canby, Oregon.

Harvest activities include a pumpkin patch, giant hay pyramid maze, and freshly squeezed apple cider.

When you're in need of a break from the exciting fall festivities, you'll want to hop aboard the Phoenix & Holly Railroad. This miniature train runs on weekends throughout the year.

The train ride costs $8 for adults (ages 13-64) and $5 for seniors (ages 65 and up) and kids (ages 2-12).

The 0.75-mile ride takes you on a long loop around the entire farm, and past the pumpkin patch. Be sure to scream in delight as you pass through the two tunnels (so you can see if there's a fun echo inside the tunnels).

The train makes several stops along the way, including one at the farm's petting zoo. You can pet goats, bunnies, and a donkey here.

The annual Pumpkin Run ride takes place daily during starting on September 28 - October 31, 2019. Put on your best Halloween costume and take a ride on the Pumpkin train available daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..

There is also a haunted Boo Train scheduled for October 5th, 11th, 12th, and the 18th through the 30th from dark until 9:00 p.m. This ride is a little more scary than the Pumpkin Train and may not be as fun for very small children.
