Fall is when grape harvest takes place, with some wineries offering a look into the process of winemaking from grapes ...

To fermentation and then to bottling, you can see how the magic happens.

The town of Newberg has a lovely downtown, which is fun to explore. Incorporated in 1889, Newberg was one of the first communities to hold Quaker services. George Fox University, which sits in the middle of the city, was founded by the Quakers in 1885.

You can even enjoy a movie in the town's 1937 single-screen theater Cameo.

If you want to move around a bit, the Ewing Young Park features a 12-hole disc golf course, walking trails, a dog park, and the world class Chehalem Skate Park.
