Further transforming Main Street into something magical, each year for one week during Christmas in New York, Lake Placid hosts its Holiday Village Stroll that highlights some of our favorite parts of town.
Giving you a reason to enjoy some of our favorite stops along Main Street, the Holiday Stroll takes place the second weekend in December from Friday–Saturday.
Those who plan to visit Lake Placid Christmas on the weekend of the Holiday Stroll can expect to witness and partake in things like soup, chili, and chowder tastings along Main Street.
And that is just scratching the surface for this Lake Placid Christmas event. On Saturday morning, you'll also see locals running (or walking) around Mirror Lake bright and early at 8:30 a.m. for the Jingle Bell Run - where people are encouraged to wear holiday-themed costumes.
