Skyeview Alpaca Farm In New Hampshire Makes For A Fun Family Day Trip
Skyeview Alpaca Farm offers a unique experience to interact with alpacas and enjoy nature in New Hampshire.
Is anything more adorable than a cute alpaca? We're going with a definitive no to answer that question and that's why we think you'll love visiting this fun little farm. The first of its kind in the state, Skyeview Alpaca farm has been running a special little farm for a number of years. Take a day trip to check them out. You might just leave with a new friend!
Skyeview Alpacas is a 40-acre farm located in the central part of the state.
They got their start in 1992, which means they've been raising alpacas for over 20 years!
In that 20 years they've grown their herd to over 100 Huacaya and Suri alpacas.
They provide education to others looking to start their own Alpaca family. These farms are located throughout the state and provide fibers of all kinds.
But what we love most about this farm is that you don't need to be in the market to bring some home to enjoy it.
A visit here is a lovely way to experience the animals and understand just how they're raised. They all have distinct personalities and it's fun to experience how they interact with people.
While you can find them at the farm year-round, there are also special events that take place specifically to introduce others to these animals. In the early fall is National Alpaca Farm Days and you'll find Skyeview at other local events around the area.
In addition to the animals, this is a wonderful place to immerse yourself in the nature of New Hampshire. And, who knows? It just might send you on a whole new life path with some furry friends!
Skyeview Alpaca Farm is open to visitors year-round, but be sure to call ahead to make sure they have time to show you around. Learn more about them through their website or check them out on Facebook. You can reach them on 603-526-2580.
