The Bretton Woods Canopy Tour In New Hampshire Is A Great Way To See The Fall Colors
Experience the thrill of a canopy tour at Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire, perfect for enjoying fall foliage and adventure.
It was hard to see summer go, but now that fall is in full swing summer is just a memory. It might just be the best time of year to be in New Hampshire. It's not hard to see why. Fall foliage road trips, apple picking and cozy weather are just a few of the reasons we love this place. Another reason? The adventure opportunities! This canopy tour is perfect for those seeking a thrill, but not too much of a scare. And when the fall foliage is on display, there's no better way to see it.
The Mount Washington Resort might be a special occasion type of stay, but if you want to experience the area we recommend the canopy tour offered nearby.
The action-packed attraction offers zip lines, sky bridges and platforms all designed to let visitors take in the sights of New Hampshire from way up high.
While the tours will take you into nature, the impact on the environment is small. They're environmentally sustainable company wherever possible including the tree platforms which are made of locally harvested wood.
You'll begin your experience at Base Camp by being fitted out in gear by their safety folks. Then, after a safety demonstration and practice you'll be on your way!
The views here are sweeping and include the Rosebrook Canyon and the White Mountains.
You can expect to spend about three hours having fun on nine zip lines, that range from 120 to 830-feet in length.
There are also two sky bridges and 16 tree platforms.
Tours are capped at 8 people, so you'll have plenty of attention from your guides.
While you can certainly make this a regular day-trip, we love the idea of celebrating birthdays and other special occasions with a visit. Just be sure to do it while the leaves are at their peak. Snowy views are great, but you can't beat the fall!
