8 Amazing Places You Can Go On One Tank Of Gas In Nevada

Nevada road trips are the best. However, they can get quite pricey. Because gas prices are on the rise in many parts of the state, we have to limit the length of our road trips. Keep in mind, just because we have to keep the mileage down, we can still visit several different places. As a matter of fact, we can visit several places in Nevada on just one tank of gas.
Most vehicles can drive an average of 300 miles on a single tank of gas. We've mapped out a road trip that begins in Reno, Nevada and loops back around. The length of this road trip is 131 miles and lasts around 3 hours and 24 minutes, minus the time spent at each stop. This road trip can easily be taken in one day.

1. Peg's Glorified Ham N Eggs - Reno
Our first stop is in Reno for a delicious breakfast. One of the best places to get breakfast in "The Biggest Little City in the World" is Peg's Glorified Ham N Eggs.
2. National Automobile Museum - Reno
Our next stop in Reno is the National Automobile Museum. If you're a car enthusiast, you'll love this museum. It features a collection of more than 200 cars.
3. Idlewild Park - Reno
After touring the National Automobile Museum, head on over to Reno's Idlewild Park. This beautiful park includes duck ponds, a pool, a rose garden, etc. It's also situated on the Truckee River.
4. Cafe Del Rio - Virginia City
Now that you've worked up an appetite, take a drive to nearby Virginia City. Cafe Del Rio is a great place to have lunch, especially if you're a fan of Southwestern cuisine.
5. The Washoe Club Haunted Museum - Virginia City
If you're a fan of haunted places, head on over to The Washoe Club Haunted Museum after finishing lunch. The building that houses The Washoe Club is one of the most haunted places in "The West."
6. Sharkey's Casino - Gardnerville
If you're feeling lucky, take a drive to Gardnerville to try your luck at Sharkey's Casino. This casino has been a city landmark since the 1940s and recently underwent renovations. Note: Picture was taken prior to renovations.
