1. Tonopah Cemetery - Tonopah, NV

Tonopah Cemetery is the perfect place to start your terrifying road trip. To say this graveyard is spooky is quite an understatement. And I don't know which is more disturbing; This 100+ year-old cemetery itself, or the clown-themed motel that stands next door? Many of Tonopah's earliest residents are buried in this cemetery, including the victims of the 1911 mine fire. Some of these miners' ghosts have actually been spotted roaming the graveyard during the late night hours. Will you be one of the lucky ones to spot a ghost during your visit?

2. Stage Stop Cafe - Tonopah, NV

Located inside Tonopah Station, the Stage Stop Cafe is a great place to grab dinner before calling it a night.

3. Mizpah Hotel - Tonopah, NV

After finishing your delicious dinner, it's time to book a room. No terrifying road trip to Tonopah would be complete without staying the night at the Mizpah Hotel. Built in 1907, this hotel is supposedly haunted by a few prostitutes from its earlier days. The most famous prostitute, "Lady in Red," is known to touch men's hair or rub up against them. Her ghost can sometimes be seen speaking to the ghost of a miner. Scared yet? If not, you might want to stay a bit longer to enjoy some breakfast at Pittman Cafe before checking out. It's fantastic.

4. International Cafe & Bar - Austin, NV

After leaving Tonopah, the International Cafe & Bar, in Austin, is a great place to grab some lunch while en route to Virginia City.

5. Buckland Station - Silver Springs, NV

Another stop along the way to Virginia City is Buckland Station in Silver Springs. Buckland Station, built in 1870 by Samuel Buckland, was a home, stagecoach stop, and Pony Express station in the late 19th century in Nevada. It's now part of Fort Churchill State Historic Park. Several people have reported seeing and hearing ghosts, and some have even claimed to experience a manly scent.

6. Mackay Mansion - Virginia City, NV

You've finally arrived in Virginia City, so why not tour one of Nevada's most haunted places; the Mackay Mansion? This attraction offers tours daily. Just be forewarned. Several former residents of this mansion haven't been able to move on, so you'll likely see their spirits hanging around. For example, while filming "Dead Man," Johnny Depp stayed at Mackay Mansion. He saw the ghost of a little girl dressed in white. Others have heard this little girl playing upstairs.

7. Old Washoe Club - Virginia City, NV

The next stop? Old Washoe Club. What was once a bar for wealthy men, is now said to be very haunted. A few of the ghosts that have been reported here include a teenage girl who was killed in the basement, a blonde prostitute who was killed on the third floor, and the prostitute's killer who committed suicide on the second floor. Ghosts have also been spotted climbing the spiral staircase. Yikes!

8. The Palace Restaurant & Saloon - Virginia City, NV

After spending time in Virginia City for most of the day, I'm sure you're starving. The Palace Restaurant & Saloon is a great place to grab a quick dinner.

9. Silver Queen Hotel - Virginia City, NV

It's finally time for some rest and relaxation, and what better way to end a terrifying road trip than to book a room at the Silver Queen Hotel, one of Nevada's most haunted hotels? Allegedly, this hotel is haunted by a woman named Rosie, a prostitute who committed suicide in Room 11.
