When you’re looking for a great way to spend the day, head on down to Tylertown, which is where you’ll find Holmes Water Park.

The small town park delivers in a BIG way when it comes to perks. The first of which is Magee’s Creek.

Easy to access with a sandy bank, the creek’s pristine waters are perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.

A paved walking path meanders through the park, making it easy to soak in the vibrant greenery and lovely scenery that fills it.

Featuring several bridges, the trail if fittingly known as The Trail of Seven Bridges.

The grounds also include Kids Country, a charming children’s playground.

With a barn theme, it offers a new twist on the classic playground experience.

Several popular events are held at the park during the year, including the Dairy Festival. The annual fest, which is free to attend, features vendors, food, turtle races, and contests. Oh, and did we mention there’s free pony rides, ice cream, and milk?

From Thanksgiving – New Year’s Eve, Holmes Water Park is set aglow as it hosts the largest Christmas display in the area. The drive-thru show features millions of colorful lights and festive décor.
