The Mysterious Maryland Road You Absolutely Must Drive At Least Once

Spook Hill in Burkittsville, Maryland, offers a gravity-defying experience that some believe is linked to the paranormal.

Have you ever heard of a gravity hill? There's one right here in Maryland, and it's certainly an experience to remember. Check out this spot that some believe is linked to the paranormal...

You may have heard of Burkittsville, as it was the filming location and setting of the hit movie, The Blair Witch Project.

This sleepy little town is real...

...and is full of history.

Sorry horror fans -- there's no actual Blair Witch. There is, however, a mysterious road known as Spook Hill.

Park at the bottom of Spook Hill, put your vehicle in neutral, and it'll seem that you're magically being pushed up the incline.

The illusion is actually known as a gravity hill, where natural surroundings make a downhill slope appear to go uphill.

Others are convinced that the event is paranormal, as it's ghosts pushing the vehicle uphill. No matter what you believe, it's still fun to give it a try.

Will you be adding Burkittsville's Spook Hill to your to-do list?
