The One Town In Louisiana That Turns Into A Winter Wonderland Each Year

So many amazing towns in Louisiana completely transform themselves for the holiday season. But perhaps no town makes a better show of it than the people in West Baton Rouge. Their yearly celebration, called Reflections of the Season, is one of the most unique Christmas celebrations in the entire state. Here's the unique experience!

Reflections of the Season is an annual event that is in its 8th year.

The display is open to the public from Dec. 8th - 11th, and 15th - 23rd.

The festival invites attendees to drive through the ground of the West Baton Rouge Conference Center.

You can park your car at the Louis Mouch Multipurpose arena at 152 Turner Rd., and then take the shuttle to the main event.

There you will be warmly welcomed by a gorgeous holiday display of light as well as carnival rides.

It's truly a fun experience for anyone who is lucky enough to attend.

There are also mule or horse drawn wagon rides available so you can get cozy with your friends.

The rides cost just $2 per person. It's a lovely way to enjoy the festival here.

Participants are also invited to explore the conference center where there are beautifully decorated rooms.

They will make you feel like you've taken a trip to the North Pole.

The little creatures and characters you'll find there are so adorable.

And you can also visit "Trevor", the talking reindeer.

On December 17th, a special snow night will come to the display.

That will give your children the experience of a white Christmas!

So consider taking a trip to this unique town, West Baton Rouge, where you will have a Christmas festival experience you won't soon forget.
