Like Rodney Dangerfield, Kansas "don't get no respect." We're often thought of as a flyover state, with little more than plains and prairies dotting the landscape. Of course, for those of us who love the Sunflower State, we know nothing could be further from the truth. Sure, we may not have any sprawling metropolises, but there are plenty of top-class museums, attractions, and restaurants that can compete with the best of them on a national scale. One of our favorites that we'd like to focus on today is the delicious Italian eatery Luciano's in Mulvane. This place is far from a nationally known name, but it just might be the best Italian restaurant near Wichita KS. So pack your bags and get ready to eat!

The city of Mulvane has a population of around 6,500. It's located about half an hour south of Wichita and is home to one of the tastiest Italian restaurants in Kansas.

From the moment you see the restaurant, you'll feel transported. Even the exterior looks like a hole-in-the-wall trattoria in Rome.

This delicious restaurant is something of a jack of all trades, with a restaurant, shop, and deli all in one. Reservations are highly encouraged, as it can get pretty busy here.
