Since 1950, the town of Wakeeney has worked together to put on this annual Christmas tradition for locals and guests from all over to enjoy.
This popular holiday tradition showcasing the city in lights starts the Saturday after Thanksgiving and goes through the New Year.
Once you arrive and drive into town, you'll feel as if you've transported into another world.
And while you won't see reindeer or elves wandering around the plains in Kansas...
... keep an eye out for horses (they almost look like the famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses) like these.
The lights throughout the city go on each night, at 6 p.m., during the holiday season. Before you leave this marvelous display of holiday cheer, remember to make a wish upon a star!
