The Most Magical Christmas Lights Road Trip Through Idaho: Part II

Explore Idaho's most spectacular and quirky Christmas light displays with your family.

Ready to take your family's Christmas light enjoyment to a whole new level? By now you've probably checked out Part I of our Christmas lights in Idaho series and are anxious for the magic to continue. And even if you haven't, feel free to blend them together into one epic night of festive, twinkling residential displays! We also have a few extra side trips thrown in to ramp up the enchantment. So gas up the car and grab that fuzzy blanket (just in case) - it’s time to explore some of the valley's most quirky, over-the-top, and mind-blowing Idaho Christmas lights displays! 1. 2190 North Fastwater Ave - Boise, 83713

Festive and traditional, this holiday display is a classic one to view with the kiddos and snap a few photos of.

2. West Director Street - Meridian, 83646

Meridian's Paramount subdivision is a perfectly horseshoe-shaped delight that is definitely packed with Christmas cheer, but Director St. and Fox Run Way are both especially merry and bright this time of year. We bet you didn't know that Meridian is one of the best Idaho Christmas towns, but you will after you finish this trip!

3. 1228 North Monaco Way - Meridian, 83646

Two houses, side by side, have joined together as one glorious light display that is sure to bring a twinkle to your eye. While you're in the area, check out NW 12th St, which features prancing deer and twinkling star showers.

4. 550 East Saint Kitts Drive - Meridian, 83642

This Disney-themed home features all of you and the kids' favorite characters, plus a delightful assortment of shadowboxes, decorated foliage, and more.

5. 1455 East Time Zone Drive - Meridian, 83642

A towering, 50 ft. outdoor Christmas tree greets visitors with a festive display of colorful lights, while this family home shimmers brightly in the background in true holiday spirit.

6. Journey of Lights: 9105 West Overland Rd. - Boise, 83709

Every year, the Journey Church on Overland features multiple holiday light shows for Halloween, Veterans Day, and more. This year's Christmas show is bigger and better than ever with over 50,000 colorful LEDs packed into a magical journey of Christmas cheer and synced to music. Tune your radio to 97.3 FM and enjoy! The show runs nightly all the way through January 1st.

7. 9511 W Mossywood Dr. - Boise, 83709

This traditional display brightens the night with lighted shrubbery, colorfully wrapped columns, and a roof that twinkles gloriously. It's definitely not Christmas in Idaho until you've experienced the lights in Boise!

8. 7218 West Old Country Ct., - Boise, 83709

This elaborate light show is synced to music via 107.5 FM. Grab that phone and get ready to capture the moment!

9. 2200 East Oakridge St. - Boise, 83716

A cheerful Christmas display all about inflatables and rainbow-colored lights covering every inch of this mesmerizing home.

10. East Warm Springs Ave. - Boise, 83703

For a classic Christmas lights drive, Warm Springs and the surrounding area near downtown is a brilliant (literally) place to start or end any holiday adventure. Renowned for its charming, historic homes, lawns, trees, and rooftops boast thousands of twinkling exhibits of every size, shape, and style.
