The Denver Attraction That Is Sure To Make You Feel Like A Kid Again
Tiny Town in Morrison, near Denver, offers a nostalgic experience with miniature buildings and an open-air train ride.
When you are a kid, there is nothing quite as magical as miniature buildings that you tower over. Actually, scratch that; there is nothing quite as magical as miniature buildings that you tower over whilst riding along on an open-air train! Does the thought of this make you feel like you're 8-years-old all over again? Me too, which is why I am so excited to introduce you to this Denver attraction that is sure to make you feel like a kid again:
Nestled within the forests of Morrison lies the World Famous Tiny Town & Railroad; a whimsical Denver-attraction that features 100 1/6 scale buildings and a matching miniature train that is sure to delight the entire family!
Opening as "Turnerville" in 1915, Tiny Town has welcomed thousands of families over a 102-year period, and features not only scenic train rides through the community, but also beautifully detailed miniature homes and businesses.
Despite being a place of innocence for children of all ages, Tiny Town has experienced its fair share of trouble, beginning with a devastating flood in 1929, a damaging fire in 1935, and a number of different owners through the years.
Despite all of this tribulation, Tiny Town remains a childhood staple that is a must-see for all ages!
Tiny Town is located at 6249 S Turkey Creek Rd in Morrison and is open Memorial Day through Labor Day from 10 am to 5 pm. For more information on Tiny Town, please visit their website.
