Hiking the Twin Valley Trail, guests can walk the 3.6-mile loop trail, which is considered moderately challenging. The trail is open year-round and usually takes 90 minutes for most to complete. As hikers wander along the hilly terrain, through the forested woodlands, they’ll eventually come across the Delaware Arc Monument, a historic monument illustrating boundaries with Pennsylvania.

Head on over to Wilmington to Alpacas Run State Park for another natural wonder.

There are a variety of seasonal activities at Alapocas Run State Park, from hiking and rock climbing to wildlife watching and biking.
