Christmas towns in Delaware really go all out for the holidays, with events ranging from Downtown Milford's Holiday Stroll to Hockessin's Holiday Lights Express. There's truly something for everyone to enjoy this holiday season, but to really get into the holiday spirit, you've got to celebrate Christmas in Lewes. This small beach town in Delaware really knows how to ring in the Christmas cheer, and you'll be glad you made a point of visiting this special holiday town this season.

All throughout town, storefronts and homes go all out with holiday decor, making this the twinkliest town in Delaware.

The festivities include a Christmas parade that's been occurring annually for over 80 years!

Local businesses built floats and light them up, turning downtown Lewes into the epicenter of bright holiday cheer.

Live music and caroling are a huge part of the celebration, and it ends with the lighting of an enormous Christmas tree.

You won't help but feel part of this tight-knit community after attending such a fun-filled holiday event.

Lewes has also traditionally been home to an enchanting Christmas Village, where you can shop and snack and visit with Santa himself.

The Christmas Village is part of Winter Wonderfest, which is an enormous nightly celebration happening now through Christmas. Unfortunately, Winter Wonderfest will not be taking place during the 2023 season.

Perhaps the best part about visiting Lewes during the holiday season is the chance to get out and explore the charming town. You'll be amazed by just how many stunning Christmas decorations you'll find!
