Read on for the list of the best school districts in Connecticut, based on their score in the following categories: academics, diversity, teachers, college prep, clubs & activities, health & safety, administration, sports, food, and resources & facilities.

1. Westport

Westport scored an A+ in every single category except for diversity, where it scored a C.

2. New Canaan

New Canaan also scored an A+ in almost every category except diversity, where it scored a C-, and sports, where it scored an A.

3. Greenwich

Greenwich scored higher in diversity than New Canaan and Westport, with a B+, but scored lower in other categories. "Lower" doesn't mean that much lower; outside of diversity Greenwich scored all A's and above.

4. Weston

Weston scored all A's and above, except for in diversity where the score is C-.

5. Glastonbury

Glastonbury scored all A's and above except for in administration, with a B+, and diversity, with a B-.

6. Darien

Aside from a C- in diversity, Darien scored all A's and above.

7. Simsbury

Simsbury scored all A's and above except for in diversity, with a C.

8. Wilton

Like almost all of the other schools on the list, Wilton scored all A's except for its C- in diversity.

9. Avon

Avon scored a C+ in diversity and a B in food. The rest of its grades are A's and above.

10. Ridgefield

There are a few grades below A's in Ridgefield's ranking, but the grades for academics, teachers, and college prep are all A+.
