The Very First Space Hotel Could Open As Soon As 2021
As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Finding a place to stay is usually one of the first things that travelers figure out when planning a big getaway. All around America you can find luxury hotels and quirky accommodations that will make your vacation priceless. But coming soon in 2021, a new type of hotel is going be launched and you won’t believe it’s true.

Thanks to the Orion Span, people will be able to take a vacation to outer space. According to the company, they have plans to build a space hotel called the Aurora Station that will launch into orbit in 2021. What exactly can visitors expect from this new age space hotel? The Aurora Station will be able to host six people at a time, including two crew members, and will feature two private suites.
The cost for each person to stay at Aurora Station will be a grand total of $9.5 million dollars. While the price of this vacation may seem expensive, it’s actually a much cheaper alternative than what’s been offered to travelers in the past. The cost of staying at Aurora Station will cover liftoff, a twelve-day orbit in space, and a three-month long training program that will be completed before the booked launch. Guests who are lucky enough to book a stay at Aurora Station will also have the chance to grow their own zero gravity food and enjoy other unique space adventures inside the hotel.
