This New Service Is Like Uber For Your Luggage

There’s something to be said for traveling light, but it’s also nice to have everything you need (and more) when you’re heading off on vacation. Now, heavy-packers have a new option.

BringIt is a company that offers on-demand luggage delivery. For just $25, the service will pick up your luggage and deliver it to the airport, a home, or any destination of your choosing, as long as it’s within 10 miles of the airport.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

The $25 covers two suitcases, but you can add additional tags for $5. Traveling further away? Customers have the option for delivery outside the $10 radius for an additional $1 per mile.

Best of all, each bag is insured up to $1,500 if it’s lost, damaged, or stolen. You can also track your luggage in real-time via a tag that the company adds to your bag in transit.

If this sounds like a dream, you can currently access the BringIt service at Miami International Airport. The company will be expanding to New York’s LaGuardia (LGA) and JFK as well as Los Angeles (LAX) later this year, with 10 more cities to follow.
