Hotels Are Rolling Out Perks For Guests With Children

The days of dreading travel with kids in tow may soon be behind us. Hotels are embracing a growing trend of catering to their smallest guests with rooms and perks designed to keep children safe and entertained.

According to The New York Times, hotels and resorts have been opening special kid zones and introducing activities that are specially designed to keep tots occupied while their parents enjoy some leisure time. The Marbella Club, a seaside resort in Spain, even offers a special kids’ club where little ones can try to make jam, pick up pottery, and even learn more about recycling.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Plenty of U.S. hotels are also offering family suites that come equipped with games, craft materials, and discounted ticket rates to local attractions like museums and aquariums. Omni Hotels, Wyndham Hotels, and Four Seasons properties usually offer some sort of childcare option, and new perks are being added all the time.

Sounds like all the more reason to finally pull the trigger on that epic family vacation.
