JetBlue Will Soon Be Introducing Basic Economy Tickets
What some are considering to be a possible step down a slippery slope, JetBlue has recently announced that coming soon the airline will feature Basic Economy Class. Falling in line with the vast majority of other American carriers, travelers are now worried that their favorite airline may be headed down a road that will result in it being just like all the rest.

While JetBlue has always been adamant about taking a "no frills" approach to anything about their company or flight experiences, they have announced that Basic Economy Class will be coming sometime in the near future in 2019. What the carrier is calling a necessary evil, President & COO Joanna Geraghty claims that Basic Economy Passengers won’t have to worry about missing out on the full JetBlue Experience. Those who will fly Basic Economy with JetBlue will still have access to spacious seating, free in-flight entertainment, and WiFi, as well as things like snacks. The downside? These passengers will miss out on areas like boarding order and cancellation flexibility. Do you think it’ll be worth it?
