The iconic ball high in the sky – 561 feet to be exact – has been a featured part of Dallas’ stunning skyline since 1978. It was initially constructed as a stand-alone tower, but was connected to an addition of the Hyatt Regency Dallas in 1998. Best known as “The Ball,” it features a nightly light show and special color schemes and messages to denote things happening in the city, state, and nation.
There is an observation tower where visitors can see the sights for a fee, but the best way to view the city (and beyond) is while dining at culinary king Wolfgang Puck’s revolving Five Sixty Restaurant. Here’s why you should make a reservation as soon as possible:
