Summer in Tennessee can be hot, humid, and, frankly, a bit overbearing! When the sun starts beating down, it’s time to catch some rays and head to the beach. That might be a problem here in Tennessee if you don’t know where to look. We may be landlocked here in the Volunteer State, but we have our own version of paradise. You won’t be finding any palm trees gently swaying in the breeze, but take one step onto Rock Island beach and you won’t miss them. Not only is it a great place to spend the day in the sun, but this Tennessee State Park is filled with fun activities.
