La Hacienda Taqueria is an authentic Mexican restaurant located in the heart of southern Nashville. It operates as a market, bakery and eatery, which means not only can you indulge in a margarita or two but you can pick up the specialty ingredients you need at home.

Colorful, family-owned and true to its roots, this lovely little spot is brightly decorated with art that hails from Mexico and is constantly filled with happy, munching locals and tourists.

The Woodbine locale has been around for almost three decades, and it's been bringing the party ever since its inception. Make sure to go on off-hours if you can, to keep from the crowds. But those tacos? They're well worth a wait!

Here you can see the ceviche, wildly popular and a constant on the menu, but folks also rave about the chips and salsa as well as the decadent white cheese sauce.
