Ah, Nashville. The land of country music, decadent barbecue, and … 6-pound burritos? Okay, the last one may not be one of Nashville’s best-known attractions, but this food challenge has brought folks from all over in order to try to tackle this massive Mexican meal in under 30 minutes. If it sounds hard, you’re right — this burrito is bigger than your head! You won’t believe it until you see it.
Chago's Cantina, right across Belmont Boulevard from Belmont Univeristy, is one of the most overlooked Mexican restaurants in the city, but it's really worth a trip.
The restaurant mainly caters to the college students from across the street, but their unique take on Mexican and Latin American fare makes any crowd well worth it.

The most unique thing on the Chago's menu? Their 6-pound burrito. The thing costs $30, but it's free if you can finish it by yourself in under 30 minutes.
What does a 6-pound burrito look like? It looks like this -- covered in red sauce, white queso, and green guacamole in honor of the Mexican flag. This thing is bigger than your head!
The goal is to finish the burrito and not look like this guy. But we don't blame him -- this is such a massive amount of food!
Of course, if you're interested in Chago's but not interested in gorging yourself on a massive burrito, they have plenty of other great Mexican options including their famous taco.
Chago's is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily and even offers a killer happy hour on weekdays from 3 to 7. Visit them soon at 2015 Belmont Blvd, and be sure to bring your appetite.
