The Nashville Taqueria That Serves Up The Best Mexican Food In The City
If you’re like us, you know that there’s nothing in the world that quite beats a good taco. And while Nashville isn’t exactly known for its Mexican culture, good tacos abound throughout Music City. If you’ve been around for a while though, you’ve likely heard of Oscar’s Taco Shop and the amazing tacos that they serve up day in and day out. If you haven’t, then what are you waiting for?! You need to check this place out.
While Nashville isn't exactly close to the Southern border, there are plenty of spots around the city to get a great taco. But among those spots, Oscar's Taco Shop stands out.
Oscar's Taco Shop is unique in that they excel in the truly one-of-a-kind flavor of Southern California Mexican food. For those of you who haven't had that experience, trust us that this means the tacos are AMAZING.
The taco shop was first opened in Nashville in 2003 after the Ruiz family moved from Southern California to take the flavors of their home to the good folks in Nashville, and we're sure glad they did!
At Oscar's, the options are always cheap and always good. Each of their tacos is under $3, but you can get anything from a classic beef taco to a decadent fresh shrimp taco!
As far as locations go, there's always an Oscar's close to you in Nashville. They have multiple locations across town and even a few in Franklin and Murfreesboro!
While you can't go wrong anywhere on the menu, we highly recommend the fish or the carnitas, whether you get tacos, burritos, or platters.
