This New Spot In Nashville’s Gulch Neighborhood Just Might Be The City’s Favorite Mexican Restaurant
Finding a decadent Tex-Mex eatery in Nashville that’s not proudly branded as a chain can get to be a bit difficult. Sure, Music City has incredible Mexican eateries and fun, quirky takes on classic taco shops, but pure Tex-Mex? The kind that offers up the taste of Mexico with the unique vibe of Texas, maybe with a bit of Austin’s weirdness? Superica, pronounced “super-rica,” just opened on August 5th in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood, and folks are already raving.
Superica operates as both a dine in and take out restaurant, with four other locations across the United States. You can find two locations in Atlanta, a location in Charlotte and a Houston spot as well as its new Nashville digs.
In Nashville, you can dine for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on the weekends.
The gorgeous interior design has been thoughtfully rendered, perfectly offseting the homegrown comfort food found on the menu. There's no better place to indulge in a plate of nachos or perhaps a stack of tacos al pastor than a place such as this.
There's bottled and canned beer on the menu, as well as wine and draft beer. Of course, the margaritas and craft cocktails really drive the whole vibe home. We'd recommend the Texas Star, a margarita made with St. Germain and ruby red grapefruit, garnished with lime. Yum!
The lunch specials cover Tex-Mex basics like hard shell tacos and enchiladas for only $11.99, served Monday through Friday with rice and beans. If you're looking to really indulge, order a steak dinner! It's bound to have the spicy edge you're looking for.
Superica is a place to visit with best friends and family members, it's where you come when you simply want to indulge in a decadent meal to yourself or where you visit when it's time for date night. There's something for everyone, and if dinner just isn't cutting it? Pitch up for chorizo, potato and eggs during weekend brunch. Yum!
