Finding the best bbq in Nashville really is a tough goal to tackle. Tennessee’s capital city is one of the best-known bbq cities in the nation, nestled between North Carolina’s famous fare to the east and the city of Memphis and its own delicious meats to the west. Needless to say, Nashville knows how to smoke a solid piece of meat, and a visit to The Gambling Stick is bound to sate your stomach and make your mouth water.
We're using the term "restaurant" really lightly here - The Gambling Stick doesn't exactly have a storefront or brick-and-mortar eatery right about now, but we'd love it if that was somewhere in the future.
For now, you can indulge in locally sourced meats in front of Porter Road Butcher East, from Wednesday to Saturday, 11am to 8pm.

Locally sourced meats and seasonal ingredients grace the menu of this epic food truck, and there's even a tent set up with picnic tables for your well-deserved feasting.
If you have a sweet tooth, their peach cobbler is also pretty incredible. Everything at The Gambling Stick is made in small batches, which in turn protects the incredible quality of their fare.
All their meats are dry-rubbed, and they're smoked for hours until tender, juicy and delectable.
We're a big fan of all their meat offerings, but their ribs are INSANE and you really can't miss the build-your-own-sandwich experience. You can also choose to build your own plate, which comes with cornbread, sauce, a side and meat of your choice.
Sounds pretty delicious, doesn't it? It says a lot when a food truck manages to beat out better-known spots for the best bbq - this is a must-visit if you're ever in Nashville!
