Did you know that there is hidden gold on the property of this haunted hotel? Supposedly, you can see Nathan Wilson, a former servant, wandering the grounds with a shovel.
(Note: as of September 3rd, 2020, Keith Mansion is permanently closed). The mansion was built in 1858, and it's here that you'll watch objects move on their own and wake to disembodied voices. Supposedly, the ghost of a Civil War soldier walks the halls.

6) Prospect Hill Bed & Breakfast Inn - Mountain City
The ghosts here are strange little homemakers. They're welcomed and there are quite a few - you may find doors opening and closing or wake up to the smell of ghostly muffins in the morning. Photographs may turn up with strange orbs or tongues of fire. The ghosts are nice, so come if you're looking for a story - not a scare.
Whether you're staying in room 711 or wandering the boarding platform, looking for victims of past train accidents, this is a spot where you'll get that heartbeat up.
After the Civil War, Union soldiers released their Confederate POW's back into freedom - sickly men, malnourished men that died in the hotel. You may hear gunshots or voices late at night, especially in room 11. Wanna stay for awhile?
Green Room Grace calls this place her home and has been haunting the hotel restaurant for almost a century. She's a playful poltergeist and is well-known for grabbing spoons - watch 'em!
With a ghost wandering the haunted eleventh floor, you may want to choose your room accordingly. Guests have reported strange noises, cold spots, and whispering down the halls. Eerie.
Book a night in room 311 and you may never sleep again. Annalisa Netherly is said to haunt the room, and after supposedly being caught with another man by her husband, was killed in a fit of passion. The weepy woman walks the halls and gnashes her teeth at any guest unlucky enough to wander her way.
