The balloons will begin their inflation at dusk, and they glow for roughly an hour. In the past, this means peak glow extends from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Keep in mind, this is not a balloon launch, but rather a glow. All hot air balloons will stay on the ground for an intimate and beautiful experience.
Parking is ticketed and runs for $20 a car if purchased online ahead of time, and $25 a car on the day of the event. Definitely make sure you pre-purchase, folks! There are also tethered hot air balloon rides available on-site for an additional $20 a person.
There's a GSM Hot Air Balloon Photography Contest for all you burgeoning photographers, so make sure to bring your camera and a keen eye for aesthetic and beauty.
