The highest point in Wisconsin might be the perfect place for your next getaway. High Point Village is a storybook-like resort located in the shadow of Timm’s Hill, the highest natural point in Wisconsin. The resort has access to some of the best recreational opportunities in the Northwoods, and it overlooks a stunning undeveloped Northwood lake. Here’s why you should make plans to climb up to High Point Village.

The resort is just south of Timm’s Hill County Park, home to a peak that reaches 1,951 feet. It’s not an actual mountain, but when you climb up to the peak of the hill you can see for more than 30 miles. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Travel Wisconsin

The surrounding countryside is pretty spectacular, too. On the south side of Timm’s Hill County Park, you’ll find Rustic Road 62, a driving route specifically chosen by the state of Wisconsin for its outstanding natural beauty. The road will take you right to the doorstep of High Point Village.

Highpoint Village overlooks Bass Lake, a lake that’s completely surrounded by county forest so the view is wild and unspoiled. Guests can relax on the shoreline and take in the beauty of Timm’s Hill.
