Drive Through Millions Of Lights At The Ingleside Hotel In Wisconsin This Holiday Season
Country Christmas at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee is Wisconsin’s largest drive-through light display, featuring over 1 million lights and festive attractions.
Christmas is right around the corner, but there’s still time to fit in some festive fun. And if you do decide to have one last holiday hurrah, it might as well involve the state’s largest drive-thru light display. The longtime favorite runs until the end of December, which means you can easily squeeze in a visit. Read on for all the details.
Wisconsin’s largest drive-through light display, Country Christmas, can be found at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee.
Heading into its 24th year, Country Christmas is a beloved holiday tradition for many.
And with more than 1 million lights, it’s easy to see why the display is so popular.
The dazzling lights are displayed along a mile-long trail, which you can navigate from the comfort (and warmth) of your own car.
Like something from a Hallmark movie, the winding trail is lined with glowing festive scenes and animated figures.
There are also miniature versions of Prairieville and old-time Waukesha.
The highlight of the trail, though, is a 200’ tunnel made up of 30,000 computerized pulsating lights!
But viewing the incredible display isn’t the only option for festive fun at Country Christmas.
At the end of the trail, you’ll find Christmas Village. The indoor village features an amazing model train display with six trains and four different levels! The village also has a concession stand where you can purchase refreshments.
Also located at the end of the trail, The Streets of Bethlehem is an indoor display that includes a nearly life-size nativity display, which is a replica of the one at the Vatican.
