Enjoy The Ultimate Staycation By The Salish Sea At Semiahmoo Resort In Washington

Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine offers a perfect Pacific Northwest getaway with historic charm, excellent amenities, and stunning views.

There are so many wonderful things about living in Washington, where there is a seemingly endless list of amazing things to see, do, and enjoy. And when it comes to lodging options, we have the ability to stay in a cabin in the mountains, a farmhouse in the rolling, rural hills, a chateau in wine country, or a beachfront hotel without ever leaving our beautiful state. And there's a charming resort surrounded by gorgeous scenery near the Canadian border that offers everything you need for a perfect vacation, all without ever driving off the property. If you have yet to stay at the Semiahmoo Resort, be sure to come here and treat yourself to the ultimate Pacific Northwest getaway.

Semiahmoo Resort is located in Blaine, surrounded by the calming Salish Sea.

This is a 3-star resort, meaning it's fairly affordable, especially in the off-season. But rest assured, you'll receive 5-star service and access to plenty of amenities. Plus, since the property used to belong to a cannery, you'll see some of the original historic buildings (and even an old shipwreck!) when you explore here.

If you book a water-view room, you'll be able to see plenty from your balcony or patio.

In addition to views of White Rock, British Columbia, this stretch of private beach is also where you'll come each night to build a fire and enjoy s'mores by the sea.

Guest rooms range from classic kings and queens to spacious suites.

You'll either have spectacular views of the lawn or the water, neither of which will disappoint.

The classic junior suites have more expanded living rooms and fireplaces, and the executive suites offer separate living areas.

The casual onsite cafe has a full coffee shop, breakfast sandwiches, and picnic lunches you can take right down to the beach -- but for an incredibly delicious happy hour or dinner, head straight to Packers Kitchen & Bar.

Between the sweeping views of the water, the outdoor seating, and the friendly service, you won't want to go anywhere else for a delicious, freshly-made meal.

Packers Kitchen serves seafood, wood-stone pizza, an epic build-your-own burger, and an array of hearty entrees.

They partner with local purveyors to ensure that the produce, meats, and more are as fresh as possible.

Semiahmoo also has a full golf course - the Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club.

This is where you'll find the casual Great Blue Heron Grill. This is one of the best restaurants in Washington, and its open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Semiahmoo Resort offers a wide array of amenities that will help you stay busy while you're here.

There is a heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, movie theater, tennis and pickleball courts, a golf simulator, bikes, board and yard games for a family game night, and much more. There is also a spa and salon should you desire some posh pampering.

The resort also plays host to a large number of weddings and events here.

There is also a Beach Activities Center that is open seasonally on the weekends from mid-June through September (weather permitting).

It is a one-stop-shop for outdoor entertainment offering bike, kayak, and paddleboard rentals available at an affordable rate. This makes it easy to explore the area by land or by sea.

It's impossible to describe the sunsets here until you see one for yourself.

This area has a lot to offer. Blaine is a charming little border town, Bellingham has some fantastic restaurants and attractions, and Whatcom Falls Park and Birch Bay State Park are both amazing. But if you park your car at Semiahmoo Resort on a Friday and don't move it until you leave on Sunday, you'll still have a completely fulfilling experience!
