This Resort RV Park In Washington Was Recently Named One Of The Most Beautiful In The Country

Recently, Travel + Leisure composed a list of the nine most beautiful campgrounds in the U.S. Unsurprisingly, the Salt Creek Recreation Area and Campground made the list.

The Salt Creek Recreation Area is located about 15 miles west of Port Angeles on the stunning Olympic Peninsula.

This place is an absolute paradise for nature lovers, especially those who can appreciate sea life.

At low tide, the tide-pooling here is absolutely unreal.

From starfish to sea urchins, you never know what you'll see in the tide pools.

The campground at Salt Creek is open year-round, although it's obviously the busiest during the summer and early fall.

There are a total of 92 campsites here, with two of them being fully ADA accessible.

Travel + Leisure called this place "one of the most visually stunning RV campgrounds in the U.S." -- and we have to agree.

No matter where you park, you'll be surrounded by beauty.
