Enjoy A Staycation At The FINCH, One Of Washington’s Newest And Sleekest Hotels
The FINCH Hotel in Walla Walla offers unique, stylish accommodations with local art and convenient amenities, making it an ideal base for wine tasting and outdoor adventures.
In October of 2019, we were all going about our lives, blissfully unaware of all that the following year would bring. And that's when The FINCH Hotel was quietly opening its doors in Walla Walla after converting the old Red Lion building into the sleek, modern accommodations that this ever-growing city really needed. Of course, their first year in business hasn't exactly gone as planned, but they have adapted to the recent changes and provide an absolutely incredible experience to guests. If you're planning to visit America's best wine region anytime soon, this is where you'll want to stay.
The FINCH is located at 325 East Main Street, within walking distance of all the amenities downtown Walla Walla has to offer.
The property was designed to stand out in a crowd, and this is definitely a unique building.
While the property was originally constructed in 1967, the current look is quite contemporary.
You'll experience parts of the original architecture mixed with new details, like the open-air lobby perfect for curbside check-in. The lobby is also where to go when you're ready for your complimentary coffee in the morning.
The hotel has several different styles of rooms and suites, almost all of which are entered from the outside.
This makes social distancing a breeze when you stay.
The rooms are simple, but they're also comfortable, stylish, and totally unique.
Each room has distinct art that was created by local artists who love the Walla Walla Valley.
The smallest rooms are the Micro Queens (at 225 square feet), and the largest are the four suites.
The suites are all one-bedroom units with king-sized beds and separate living areas.
For the ultimate slumber party experience, book one of the Bunk + Bunk rooms.
The two sets of bunk beds are perfect for families or small groups of friends who want to re-create the fun of childhood slumber parties.
While the hotel does not have onsite dining, it does attract local food trucks nearly every day of the week.
Enjoy your takeout meal with your favorite bottle of wine at one of the common areas, like the courtyard or the fireside lounge.
The team at The FINCH has worked hard to make the hotel a great "home base" for your wine tasting or outdoor adventures.
Walla Walla is known as the road cycling capital of Washington, and you'll notice the bike storage units and tune-up station as soon as you check in.
The city of Walla Walla has a lot of character, so this charming, one-of-a-kind hotel has been a perfect addition. The FINCH currently has several great packages and promotions, so book yourself a stylish staycation here.
