Try A Mountain Slide, Zip Lining, And Gem Panning, All At Park City Mountain Resort In Utah

Park City Mountain Resort is a winter wonderlands when the snow flies, but there's plenty of fun to be had all summer and fall, too. Visit this resort soon to ride the mountain slide, speed down the zip line, pan for gems and more.

Park City Mountain Resort is a great place to ski in the winter, but once the snow melts, it's a family-friendly destination where all kinds of outdoor adventures await.

Get to the resort early and plan to stay all day; there are tons of different summer activities on the mountain. Start with the Mountain Coaster, which winds through the trees for more than a mile.

The Alpine Slide is one of the longest on the entire planet, with 3,000 feet of track.

As if that's not enough downhill diversion, the summer kids' tubing lets your youngsters enjoy the sledding hill without any snow.

Everyone in the family will want to get in at least one round of disc golf, and there's also a mini golf course, putting course and the Canyons Golf Course, an 18-hole, par 70 course.

Fly down the Ziprider Zip Line at speeds up to 45 mph as you soar 100 feet above the treetops. Participants must weigh at least 100 pounds and be at least 52 inches tall.

The younger members of the family will love the Flying Eagle Zip Line, which lets them take a buddy along. Kids must be at least 42 inches tall to ride.

Explore Park City's mining history with gem panning, where you can keep a whole bag of gems.

Other activities for kids include the climbing wall, kids' rope course, and legacy launcher trampoline.

Ride the chair lift for some scenic views, and bring your bike along to ride the trails from the top of the resort all the way down. You'll also find several great hiking trails on the mountain.

Every activity is priced a la carte, so if you want to just enjoy a couple, you only pay for what you want. But if you're looking for a whole day of fun, get the Adventure Pass.

The Adventure Pass is $77 for participants 54 inches and taller; $47 for those under that height, if you purchase them online. At the ticket window, you'll pay $85 and $52.
