Compass Rose Lodge In Utah Is The Star Of A Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie

Did you know that several of those movies were filmed in Utah? It's true, and in 2019 Compass Rose Lodge in Huntsville hosted a film crew for the Hallmark movie Check Inn To Christmas. Take a look!

Compass Rose Lodge opened for business on January 1, 2019, and it is a true gem in the Ogden Valley. It is well known for its observatory and the cozy, warm, and inviting atmosphere it offers.

We have no doubt that Compass Rose Lodge would have pulled out all the stops for its very first Christmas in 2019 no matter what the circumstance, but the owners had an even better reason to deck the halls that year...

...actors, directors, and an entire film crew showed up that September to film a Hallmark Christmas movie!

The lodge was decked out inside and out in order to prepare for the dreamy holiday-themed scenes throughout the film. This cozy Check Inn To Christmas filming location offered the perfect setting for this festive flick.

Owners Jeff and Bonnie Hyde are always excellent hosts, so we're certain that they welcomed the film's cast and crew with open arms.

We can only imagine how difficult it must have been to accommodate an entire film crew while still trying to operate the lodge and still enjoy a bit of privacy now and then!

Obviously, it was all worth it, because when the crew called "It's a wrap!" everyone at the lodge was proud and excited to see the film. You're going to want to see it too (if you haven't already), so you can catch some views of the beautiful Compass Rose Lodge and the surrounding Ogden Valley.
