Eat A 4-Course Meal While Solving A Murder At The DoubleTree Hotel In Pennsylvania

Enjoy an interactive murder mystery dinner theater experience at The Dinner Detective in Philadelphia.

Hey, all of you armchair detectives! Can you solve the whodunit in your favorite crime drama on TV before the detectives do? Do you devour all of the true-crime TV shows and books you can? If so, you’re well prepared for this action-packed, fun murder mystery dinner theater in Pennsylvania. In fact, if you can solve the whodunit before anyone else, you just might win a prize.

Show off your crime-solving skills at The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, held on Saturday evenings at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Philadelphia.

The action-packed murder mystery show promises plenty of laughs, too, and everyone who wants to be involved will be involved. You can even pay a bit extra to have one of your party-members become a prime suspect.

Pay close attention from the moment you arrive at the DoubleTree, which should be by the start time. The dinner and show runs for three hours and usually starts at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m.

The fun begins as soon as you arrive, and the “murder” can happen at any time. Expect the unexpected, too, including brief blackouts, the sound of simulated gunshots, and prop guns.

While you’re trying to figure out whodunit, you’ll feast on a delicious four-course meal. The meal kicks off with chicken quesadilla and dumplings followed by a fresh salad.

You have several dishes from which to choose for your entrée – roasted chicken, grilled Atlantic salmon, or roasted cauliflower steak (ideal for vegetarians.) Each entrée comes with a starch and seasonal veggies.

Sure, the New York-style cheesecake will tantalize your taste buds, but don’t take your eyes off of what’s going on around you – or you might miss an important clue.

Show dates are typically announced between six weeks and two months ahead of time, and shows can sell out pretty quickly. The show is for guests 15 and older only.

The Dinner Detective also has a dress code of dressy casual/business casual. T-shirts, shorts, and hats are prohibited.
