The bottom floor of this modern cabin includes a kitchen with all the amenities and space that you'll need to prepare meals for yourself and your companions. The cabin is only three miles from downtown Pawhuska, so you'll have easy access to restaurants and stores during your stay. For the most relaxing experience, though, you might want to stock up on snacks and ingredients to cook yourself a meal before settling in for the night — that way, you don't have to go anywhere at all.

On the lower level, you'll also find a comfortable sitting area. It's a lovely place to relax with a good book or to spend time chatting and playing board games with your companions. There's a Murphy bed in the living room that can sleep two if you need it.

The second floor houses the master bedroom; you'll need to climb a sturdy loft ladder to reach it. This is an open loft space with a queen bed. On a cold winter's day, you'll certainly have a hard time dragging yourself out of this warm and homey sleeping environment. Fortunately, you'll find that there's no rush to do so at all. Relax, take your time, and maybe even take another nap before you get up for the day.

When you do finally get up and head outside, you might wander just a few steps down a wooded path to this private platform on Bird Creek to check out the local wildlife. This vacation rental is the only home on 4.2 acres, so you'll feel like you're far from everything. Enjoy watching birds and other creatures while you sip a morning cup of coffee or hot cocoa, and while you plan another relaxing, laid-back, refreshing day at the cabin.

In the evening, you can step outside again to gaze at the many stars above. Perhaps you'll even have the opportunity to catch a few snowflakes on your tongue as they fall to the earth all around you.
