I typically have my fingers crossed for snow, but even if it's warm there are plenty of ways to get into the season's spirit. One of them is this Christmas-themed restaurant located in Jackson. The Christmas Farm Inn & Spa in Jackson will make you feel like Christmas is here even in the middle of the most sweltering summer.

But we’ll get to its charm in a moment. It also happens to have an interesting history!

It was built in 1778 and, believe it or not, it was originally a jail, church and farmhouse all in one!

In 1933, the building was given as a Christmas present by a Jackson man to his daughter. This is when it became known as simply the “Christmas Farm.”

The inn itself is cozy-looking, but it sits on an expansive 15 acres of land.

And all year long they’re dedicated to celebrating the Christmas spirit with rooms aptly named Rudolph, Mistletoe, Elves, Yuletide and Everything Nice.

Even if you can’t stay overnight, you’ll love the pub and restaurant located inside.

The Mistletoe Pub offers a traditional New England dinner, complete with sides and some of the best desserts we’ve had. If we had created our own New Hampshire Christmas restaurant, it would have looked a lot like this!

The pub, which was recently redone, has a modern yet cozy feel.
