REDIRECTED These Cozy Cabins Are Everything You Need For The Ultimate Fall Getaway In Montana
Discover the best cabins in Montana for every budget, from affordable retreats to luxurious getaways.
The best time to book a cabin in Montana is definitely fall. The changing leaves beautify the landscapes, and the cool temperatures encourage cozying up by the fire while you enjoy the autumn hues through the window. Plus, the snow hasn’t fully taken over (yet) so you can still go on a mountain drive without worry. Let the following list of cozy cabins in Montana inspire your next getaway!
1. Bear Paw Cabin, Hamilton
The Bear Paw Cabin is available through Bitterroot Cabins, a company that rents out vacation homes in the Hamilton and Darby areas. This cozy two bedroom home has a wood stove for enjoying after a long day spent in the great outdoors… and if you need more warmth, you can step outside and take a dip in the hot tub by the back deck.
2. Log Cabin at Seeley Lake
This beautifully remodeled log cabin sits on 80 acres, with river access and wildlife galore, it can offer several unique reasons to stay in Seeley Lake!
3. Blue Sky Cabins, Red Lodge
One of our favorite fall getaways in Montana, these luxurious cabins are located on a quiet country road about 19 miles from Red Lodge. They’re stocked with basic amenities, snacks, and have amazing hot tubs perfect for warming up on a chilly autumn night.
4. Wilderness Spirit Cabins, Corvallis
Wilderness Spirit has three unique cabins for rent, all of which are located near Hamilton and downtown Corvallis… but not so near that you won’t feel like you’ve escaped civilization for awhile.
5. Cottonwood Log Cabins, Lewistown
These secluded cabins in Montana provide a restful "home base" as you explore the area. You'll be surrounded by miles of hiking trails and scenery, but the hot tubs (in cabins 2 and 3) will lure you back "home."
6. Double Arrow Resort, Seeley Lake
This rustic resort offers cozy cabins for rent, and some of them date back to the 30s. For a fall getaway, stay in a Tamarack Cabin and enjoy the gas log fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and king-sized bed. One of the most scenic places in Montana, Seeley Lake is especially glorious during the winter -- you can even take a sleigh ride across the snowy landscape!
7. The Holmestead in Frenchtown
If you're looking for a remote and quiet escape in the wilds of Big Sky Country, look no further than The Holmestead in Frenchtown! Family and pet friendly, this dry cabin (meaning no running water) is a true escape that will have you reveling in the beauty of our state.
