When it comes to bucket-list destinations for me, they don't get any more exciting than Branson. This small-town Missouri getaway is really the best of all possible worlds - it combines the best of a bustling tourist town, a small-town full of charm, and a nature-filled rustic getaway into one package, and it's all centered around what might be the best hotel in Missouri - Chateau on the Lake, a massive resort on the banks of the massive, winding Table Rock. So it's no surprise that in addition to everything else it has going for it, Chateau on the Lake is home to the best restaurant with a view in Missouri. Chateau Grille is a delicious surprise where the view out the windows is just as big a draw as the food.

Table Rock is one of the most stunning views in Missouri, and there is no shortage of hotels on its perimeter - but none quite have the splendor of Chateau on the Lake, a massive resort and conference center offering top-of-the-line accommodations and dining.

At the heart of this reputation for excellence is the Chateau Grille, the resort's premiere fine dining restaurant. While the seasonal menu is highly acclaimed, the restaurant is most famous for its panoramic views of the lake outside.

While the menu does lean towards classic midwestern fare with an emphasis on well-prepared proteins, we were blown away to see how many local and seasonal touches make their way into the menu. It's no surprise many of the diners are regulars.
