This Missouri Airbnb With a Massive Spiral Slide Into the Lake Is Like Having Your Own Waterpark

Glide and shoot through a spiral slide, or cannonball into the waters from the epic deck at this Lake of the Ozarks Airbnb.

When you see the listing photos for the All Docked Out Airbnb in Linn Creek, Missouri, it is immediately clear how this vacation rental got its name. The rental is, indeed, “all docked out” with waterpark vibes, offering two waterslides, an elevated 20-foot jump platform, boat slips, a lakeside bar, and lounging areas. All of this… and you haven’t even stepped foot into the gorgeous luxury home.

As a Missouri native, I grew up hearing stories of the infamous “Party Cove” at Lake of the Ozarks, which gained notoriety for massive gatherings of people looking for a good time. While this massive lake at the heart of the state still has a reputation for fun, you can also find peaceful retreats, especially where the All Docked Out Airbnb is located in Linn Creek.

Whether you’re looking for fun or utter relaxation, this waterfront Airbnb has you covered. Let’s start our tour with a look at the personal waterpark you can enjoy at the dock. Head up a set of stairs to find a 20-foot jumping platform. Take a moment to enjoy the lake views. Then, you have to make a choice. Will you hop into the enclosed spiral slide for the most fun way to enter the lake, or will you dive from the platform for an even more exhilarating entrance? I can already imagine the shouts of "cannonball" echoing across the cove!

Of course, not everyone wants that level of thrill for their lake entry. Don’t worry. All Docked Out also offers a smaller, traditional waterslide for a gentler approach. Or, you can ease yourself into the lake on the water steps. Toss out the included floating mats to give yourself a cool spot to play or sunbathe. Now, all you need is some sunscreen for the perfect day on the turquoise waters of this quiet lake cove.

Once you’ve exhausted yourself with water play, dry off on the dock, which features a shaded lounge area and a bar. This is the perfect respite from the sun on a summer day. Two dock slips are included with your rental, and one of them features a pontoon lift. If you have a boat, head out into the open waters of Lake of the Ozarks to explore all that this 54,000-acre lake has to offer.

I suppose we should also discuss the interior of this epic vacation rental. It’s as boastworthy as the dock. This luxury home can sleep over 16 guests, with 11 beds spread across six bedrooms. Kids will be especially enchanted by the lofted area with bunk beds, a pair of full beds, a futon, and their own television, while adults can find palatial bedrooms spread out across the house.

The interior also features two living rooms, each with a wall of windows so you can keep the sparkling waters ever in view. Upstairs, you’ll find a full kitchen outfitted with deluxe appliances, while downstairs has a bar area with a sink and refrigerator offering easy access to the lake level. A pool table provides entertainment on rainy days and those endless summer nights.

Not only is the house two stories, but the patio is, as well. The upstairs patio is screened in, and this is where I’d love to spend my summer nights, protected from the mosquitoes while listening to waves lap on the rocky shores. The couch is truly massive! The lower deck features more furniture for lake-level lounging.

While staying in the All Docked Out Airbnb, take time to explore the area. Take your pick from two of Missouri’s best state parks. One of my favorites is Ha Ha Tonka State Park, which has trails leading to some fascinating castle ruins and a gorgeous blue spring. And, the lake is also home to Missouri's largest state park, Lake of the Ozarks State Park, which offers recreation on land and water.

You’re sure to work up an appetite with all of these adventures. One of my favorite hidden gems, Tonka Hills Restaurant, is not far from the Airbnb. The homestyle cooking gives you a taste of the Ozarks. The region also boasts many waterfront restaurants. Some, like Baxter’s Lakeside Grille and JB Hooks, are perfect for a quiet meal, while spots like Redhead Lakeside Grill take the party from the waters to the shore.

The All Docked Out Airbnb is Missouri lake life at its finest, from the waterpark dupe of a dock to the luxurious interior to the epic patios. Check out the Airbnb listing to find more photos and to book your stay at this ultimate Lake of the Ozarks retreat.
