From the scenic rocky coastline to gorgeous Acadia National Park, Maine is filled with abundant natural beauty that is forever changing with the seasons. Many visitors (myself included) have witnessed the state’s scenic landscapes by day but have never spent a night out in nature under the area’s peaceful skies. Lie in bed and gaze through the home’s transparent roof at the night sky. Or enjoy a drink while watching the water flow in the nearby tranquil stream. Additional outside spaces include a fire pit area, a porch, a bar with a projection screen, and even a seven-person hot tub. I don’t think that it can get any better than this.

When you are not gazing at the stars, you can keep busy by participating in a friendly axe-throwing or archery competition (the home has equipment for both activities). You may also want to grab one of the provided kayaks and explore the nearby stream or hike at Bald Mountain.
