Do you love bed & breakfast experiences that are like mini attractions all by themselves? The 1896 O'Malley House is definitely a place that fits the bill. It would be a little strange to see a house this old with a lot of modern updates, but other than the Wi-Fi and Jacuzzi tubs, we love this home just the way it is. History is highly valued in New Orleans, and this 125-year-old bed & breakfast is proof of that. It's one of the best in the country, voted one of the Top 10. The O'Malley House is definitely worth bookmarking on your New Orleans bucket list.
Welcome to one of New Orleans' most historic bed & breakfasts, the 125-year-old O'Malley House. This historic Colonial Revival house turned B&B is a great home base to explore the city.
One of the best benefits to staying in a historic home is definitely the decor. Other than pieces that needed to be renovated and kept up to date for safety reasons, historic homes with vintage patterns and furniture are always a treat to visit.
Of course, the breakfast you're treated to in the morning makes sure that you're well fed as well as happy. Served daily in the beautiful dining room, breakfast is the morning motivator we all need to get out of bed.
Hanging out in the courtyard is a great way to spend a relaxing evening after exploring the city. Recline with a drink before bed, and enjoy the waterfall noises to relax you.
Though the breakfasts are divine and the home is gorgeous, the access to local attractions makes this the perfect home base to rest in between attractions.
The old bed & breakfast has plenty of room tours on its website, so you know exactly which room suits your fancy before you book.
